Abbas and Roya Khajeaian, father and daughter, are self-taught mosaic artists. Their work is influenced by the mosaic heritage of the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cultures. Like any artist they bring unique images and creativity to their artwork.
They incorporate the colors and textures of nature to create each work, greatly appreciating the materials that they use. Nature and the materials that come from nature are art in themselves. Abbas and Roya believe that their art exists in nature before they conceive their work.
